WHEREAS the Council for the Municipality of East Ferris passed By-law No. 2021-60, a new Comprehensive Zoning By-law for the Municipality of East Ferris on January 11, 2022;
AND WHEREAS By-law No. 2021-60 came into force and effect on February 4, 2022;
AND WHEREAS section 34.(10.0.0.1) and section 45(1.3) of the Planning Act prevents an application for a Zoning By-law amendment or a Minor Variance to be made within 2 years of the date of passing of a new Comprehensive Zoning By-law;
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that Council for the Municipality of East Ferris deems it desirable to allow applications to be made with regards to amendments to Zoning By-law No. 2021-60 in accordance with section 34 (10.0.0.2) and Minor Variances to Zoning By-law No. 2021-60 in accordance with section 45(1.4) of the Planning Act prior to the 2 years of date of passing of the new Comprehensive Zoning By-law No. 2021-60.
