Mayor Rochefort advised that there was a Special Meeting of Council prior to the Regular Meeting and the Strategic Plan 2019-2022; Actions, Implementation and Measurement was approved. Dawn Clark from the Nugget met with the CAO and the Manager of Planning and Economic Development last week to do the Municipality of East Ferris Economic Outlook. Councillor Kelly and CAO, Jason Trottier attended a Press Conference at Cassellholme where Provincial Announcement was made for the new Cassellholme. The Knights of Columbus gave the LEAD (Library Evolution and Development) Team a donation of $5,000.00. The LEAD Team fundraise for the enhancement for the Library. Preparation for the Ribfest are ongoing. Ribfest is to be held on June 30th, 2019 at the Corbeil Park Hall. On Canada Day, the Municipality will be unveiling the Voyageur Cycling Route and Kiosk at Big Moose Park. Starting at 5:00 p.m. on Canada Day there will be a BBQ at the Corbeil Park Hall, a Magician and Reptile show.
