The meeting will be held by zoom, and livestream on February 4th, 2021 at noon. An email has been sent to all involved requesting to forward their questions to the Municipal Clerk prior to February 1st, 2021, 12:00 p.m.5.Declarations of Conflict of Interest None for this session6.Chair's Comments: Mayor Rochefort passed the Chair's comments to Councillor Kelly to say a few words regarding past Councillors Dan Corbeil and Dennis Neethling. Councillor Kelly advised that it was an honour to serve with both Dan and Dennis. They did good decisions, great volunteer work for the municipality. Mayor Rochefort made an additional comment advising that in this special year as we learn about our history, it has come to our attention the use of a photo of a carnival float with a banner "Les Esquimaux du Nord" produced in our 2021 Municipal Calendar. The photo was used to showcase times and events in our history as we look to celebrate our 100 years in 2021. In no way did we intend to disrespect the culture of indigenous people and regret any harm this may have caused.
