Carried Mayor Rochefort2022-177Moved byCouncillor KellySeconded byDeputy Mayor TrahanWHEREAS, the Council for the Municipality of East Ferris has completed the performance evaluation of the CAO; AND WHEREAS, the CAO's performance was rated excellent in accordance with the CAO's job description for the 2018-2022 Council term which includes the dual role of Treasurer as well as a number of additional duties; AND WHEREAS, the CAO has successfully overseen numerous accomplishments as per the attached document entitled “Municipal Accomplishments for the 2018-2022 Term of Council; AND WHEREAS, comparative compensation information suggests that the Municipality lags behind other municipalities in the compensation of its CAO/Treasurer; AND WHEREAS, the Municipality is in a good financial position and funds have been ear marked in the 2022 approved budget to support a salary adjustment for the CAO; THEREFORE Council enacts that: The CAO's salary be adjusted to $170,000.00; The CAO's vehicle allowance be increased to $7,500.00 + 2% annual increase.
