Declarations of Conflict of Interest - Pecuniary Interest Thereof

 

Councillor Champagne advised that the property on which the Aggregate Licence Application for a Licence for a Quarry above the Groundwater Table within the Municipality was at one time under his ownership.  That property has been sold and he does not have anything to do with this property.

Mr. David Villard, Pebble Beach Aggregate made a presentation to Council regarding the Aggregate Licence Application for a Licence for a Quarry above the Groundwater Table within the Municipality of East Ferris, District of Nipissing. 

Mr. Marcel Degagné and Mr. Dan Degagné were also present with Mr. Villard to answer any questions of Council regarding the presentation.

Council proceeded to In-Camera session under Section 239(2) -  (c) a proposed or pending acquisition or disposition of land by the municipality or local board regarding the matter of Dugas Road and (f) advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for the purpose of discussion of  the Aggregate Licence Application for Quarry above the Groundwater Table within the Municipality.

    THAT this meeting proceeds to In-Camera session at 4:35 p.m., under Section 239(2) of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, c.25 in order to address a matter pertaining to:

    • Advice that is subject to solicitor-client privilege, including communications necessary for that purpose.
