Call to Order

Mayor Rochefort called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

Fire Chief Loeffen advised that Province is starting to open up.  Municipality is looking at opening up for the public with proper measures in place.

Mayor Rochefort advised that this was the first experience with a declared Emergency and stated that the leadership of the staff was exceptional.

Mayor Rochefort advised that she participated in the virtual Annual General Meeting of the Ontario Association of Police Services Board (OAPSB).  Mayor Rochefort also read a letter received from the OPP Commissioner, Thomas Carrique pertaining to recent protest activity.

  WHEREAS Council for the Municipality of East Ferris deems it expedient to pass three readings of the following by-law at this session; BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT a By-law to close and convey a part of the original shore road allowance, described as part of the original shore road allowance along the shore of Kittenmink Lake in front of & adjacent to Part of Lot 9, Concession 1, lying SW of Part 3 & 4, 36-R10032; Township of East Ferris, District of Nipissing, BE READ  a first, second and third time, passed and numbered 2020-20;

  AND THAT said by-law be signed by the Mayor and Clerk and sealed with the Seal of the Corporation.
