Manager of Planning and Economic Development, Greg Kirton was present at the Special Council Meeting.  

The purpose of the meeting was to do a final review of the Comprehensive Zoning By-law before presenting to Council at its Regular Meeting of December 14th, 2021 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Reading.

    WHEREAS Council for the Municipality of East Ferris has reviewed the Comprehensive Zoning By-law in detail and is satisfied with its final presentation;

    BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the Comprehensive Zoning By-law be referred to the Council agenda for the regular meeting of December 14th, 2021 for the approval of passing 1st, 2nd and 3rd Reading with the following modifications made:

    • Remove commercial vehicle provision in residential; and
    • Add 15% lot coverage for lots below 2 acres.
