    THAT Council of the Municipality of East Ferris accepts the 2019-2022 Strategic Plan: 2020 Progress Report as presented;

    AND FURTHER that staff be authorized to release the Progress Report to the public.

Presentation of New Municipal Logo to Council

    WHEREAS Council for the Municipality of East Ferris discussed rebranding and developing a new logo for several years;

    AND WHEREAS the Municipality of East Ferris will be celebrating its Centennial Anniversary in 2021 and Council felt that now would be the best time to rebrand and develop a new logo;

    AND WHEREAS Council and staff launched a logo contest with students from the Graphic Design Program at Canadore College;

    AND WHEREAS Council authorized staff to work with VS Group to produce proofs for a new logo based on the winning logo from the contest;

    BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that Council approve logo option #3 and that staff work with VS Group on modernizing the brand and ensuring it is useable for a number of applications including designs for stationary elements, powerpoint templates, report covers, and clothing mock-ups.

New Municipal Website
 

Presentation was given to Council of the new Municipal Website.  Positive comments were received  regarding the website.  Staff advised that the new Municipal Website will be live in a couple of weeks.
