Disclosure of Pecuniary Interest and General Nature Thereof
 

Councillor Rick Champagne declared a Pecuniary Interest on the whole agenda of the Special Meeting of August 11th, 2021 as the agenda dealt with the East Ferris Municipal Clinic.  Councillor Champagne did not participate in the discussion of the items on the agenda pertaining to the medical clinic, nor did Councillor Champagne vote on any resolutions presented to Council pertaining the Medical Clinic.

  • Councillor Champagne declared a conflict on this item. (Possibility of work during the construction of the Medical Clinic)

Brian Bertrand, Bertrand Wheeler Architecture and Gregg Kanmacher, Project Manager were present for this Special Council Meeting. 

Prior to Mr. Bertrand's presentation, Mayor Rochefort read a Backgrounder and timelines of the Medical Centre.

    WHEREAS Council for the Municipality of East Ferris deems it expedient to pass three readings of the following By-law at this session; BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED THAT a By-law to authorize an agreement between the Municipality of East Ferris and 2776671 Ontario Inc. O/A Degagne & Lefebvre Building Group for a new Medical Clinic, BE READ a first, second and third time, passed and numbered 2021-38;

    AND THAT said By-law be signed by the Mayor and Clerk and sealed with the Seal of the Corporation.
