A second public hearing was held on an application submitted by Sylvie Laperriere and John Kennedy requesting to close and purchase the road shore allowance in front of their property at 130 Pargeter Drive. John Kennedy was in attendance at the public meeting as well as the abutting property owners at 73 South Shore Road, Norm and Cathy Guppy. The Guppy's utilize the dock on the shoreline road allowance to access the water.
Mr. Kennedy gave a brief overview of his application. He advised that the two parties have not found an amicable solution. Mr. Kennedy advised there has been no communication with the Guppy's since the last public hearing.
Mr. and Mrs. Guppy addressed the Committee. Mr. Kirton confirmed that he did received their application to purchase the shoreline road allowance in front of their property at 73 South Shore Road, but due to circulation timelines that application will have to go to a future meeting. The Guppy's are in favor of determining the lot lines based on the standards in the by-law.
The Committee discussed the required survey work and the administration of getting the survey done. A survey with clearly defined lot lines is required before any transfer can take place. Mr. Kirton shared aerial imagery of the site with everyone in attendance.
The Committee approved of the application as presented.
Public input was received and considered during the public meeting, and the Planning Advisory Committee (PAC) is of the opinion that the public comments received did not raise any issues requiring further review.
