Mayor Rochefort called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.

Chair's Comments:
 

Mayor Rochefort welcomed the public to the meeting.  Congratulated the Economic Development Committee regarding the grand opening of KRMP.

Announcement was made by the Federal Government regarding funding for internet.  It will be discussed at the Regional Mayor's meetings.

Mayor Rochefort advised that she attended a workshop pertaining to Flood Mitigation.

Mayor Rochefort also congratulated staff with the organizing of the Volunteer BBQ.  It was a great success and thanked all of the Municipal volunteers that attended.

    WHEREAS no public input was received at the public meeting of the Planning Advisory Committee held August 21st, 2019 and the Planning Advisory Committee is of the opinion that the proposal is consistent with Provincial Policy, the Municipality's Official Plan, the Zoning By-law and represents good land use planning;

    BE IT  HEREBY RESOLVED that the Council for the Municipality of East Ferris concurs with Resolution No. 4 passed by the Planning Advisory Committee at their meeting held on August 21st, 2019  and approves Consent Application No. B-2019-16 (Gloria Brydges) for the property described as Concession 2, Part of Broken Lots 3 and 4, Parcel 2482 WF (1757 South Shore Road) to sever a parcel of land for the creation of one new lot with water access only, together with those conditions as set out in the Planning Advisory Committee Resolution dated August 21st, 2019.

    WHEREAS no public input was received at the public meeting of the Planning Advisory Committee held August 21st, 2019 and the Planning Advisory Committee is of the opinion that the proposal is consistent with Provincial Policy, the Municipality's Official Plan, the Zoning By-law and represents good land use planning;

    BE IT  HEREBY RESOLVED that the Council for the Municipality of East Ferris concurs with Resolution No. 6 passed by the Planning Advisory Committee at their meeting held on August 21st, 2019  and approves Consent Application No. B-2019-11 (Erik Hunnisett) for the property described as Part of Lot 25, Concession 9, (886 Derland Road) to sever a parcel of land for the creation of one new lot, with approximately 46 metres of frontage on Derland Road and an area of 0.87 hectares, together with those conditions as set out in the Planning Advisory Committee Resolution dated August 21st, 2019.

    BE IT  HEREBY RESOLVED that the Council for the Municipality of East Ferris concurs with Resolution No. 7 passed by the Planning Advisory Committee at their meeting held on August 21st, 2019  and approves Consent Applications No. B-2019-12 to B-2019-14 (1851477 Ontario Inc.) for the properties described as Concession 9, Part Lot 14, Plan 36R-2507 (Corbeil Road)  to sever land for the creation of three new lots, together with those conditions as set out in the Planning Advisory Committee Resolution dated August 21st, 2019.

    BE IT  HEREBY RESOLVED that the Council for the Municipality of East Ferris concurs with Resolution No. 8 passed by the Planning Advisory Committee at their meeting held on August 21st, 2019  and approves Consent Application No. B-2019-15 (Miller and Urso Surveying on behalf of Jeff Staples) for the property described as Concession 8, Part Lot 15, RP 36R5428, Pt Parts 1 and 2, Parcel 15231 WF, Parcel 15234 WF (Corbeil Road) to sever a parcel of land for the creation of one new lot, together with those conditions as set out in the Planning Advisory Committee Resolution dated August 21st, 2019.

    WHEREAS public input was received and considered during the public meeting of the Planning Advisory Committee dated August 21st, 2019 for File No. LSRA-2019-04, Darla Youldon, Lake Nosbonsing;

    AND WHEREAS the Planning Advisory Committee recommended to Council through their resolution No. 2019-09, of August 21st, 2019 to proceed in accordance with applicable regulations, policies and procedures set out in By-Law No. 2015-35 to approve request  made by Darla Youldon to purchase Part of the Original Lakeshore Road Allowance lying in front of Parcel 16766 Sec. WF; Part Lot 1, Concession 4, East Ferris, Part 3, 36R10334, T/W Part 1, 36R8033 as in LT367326;

    BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED  that Council for the Municipality of East Ferris concurs with the Planning Advisory Committee resolution No. 2019-09 dated August 21st, 2019.

    THAT Council for the Municipality of East Ferris supports resolution No.19-355 from the Township of McKellar regarding Municipal Amalgamation and before the Provincial Government forces amalgamation in any of the 444 municipalities in Ontario, our AMO organization go beyond and request consultation on this matter;

    AND FURTHER that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Doug Ford, Premier of Ontario, Christine Elliott, Deputy Premier; Steve Clark, Minister of Municipal Affairs, Vic Fedeli, MPP, AMO and FONOM.
